Nearly 2,000 area high school seniors from Portage County and surrounding areas, gathered at Hiram College on Tuesday to hear educational and personal messages on the dangers of impaired and distracted driving during the 16th annual “None 4 Under 21 and Choices Beyond” program. We are proud to be a long standing partner on this event, sponsored by Portage County Safe Communities, Elk & Elk, Troopers for a Safer Ohio and other groups, businesses and agencies.
The event takes place in April, which is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, and prior to prom and graduation season. In 2017, Portage County ranked 10th out of 88 Ohio counties in the number of citations involving a teen driver. Photos: Kasey Samuel Adams
