Hughie’s Event Production Services Hires Director of Video Services

Hughie’s Event Production Services is thrilled to announce the hiring of Travis Kelly, a well-known Video Veteran in the large scale LED wall industry in the Midwest region. His skills in both technical direction and producing events as well as knowledge in large LED walls, digital HD video switching, cameras, recording solutions and components will be a welcome addition to the current staff.

Born and raised in a small town near Youngstown, Ohio, Travis started in the production field at a very young age. Being a musician from the age of 10, at the age of 17 he started writing his own music and began the learning the art of audio production. Shortly after, his love of film drew him to the video production side, and that’s where he flourished. Starting small with weddings and then transitioning to commercial work, he founded his own production company. He then spent time working at the local television station before landing at an LED event company. Years of experience have allowed him to operate cameras, direct live shows, and be a technical director of shows that include Countryfest with Sheryl Crow and Darius Rucker, EAA Airventure, the nation’s largest air show, America Gold Cup equine showcase, and many others.

Hughie’s will be investing, in the near future, into additional LED panels and walls, cameras and switching & recording options not only in its Cleveland headquarters, but in its Pittsburgh and Columbus offices as well. Travis will work with its current knowledgeable staff regarding training and available technology to ensure that, company-wide, Hughie’s is offering the most state-of-the-art equipment available today. Hughie’s looks forward to Travis as he steps into his role as Director of Video Services.
